Asda Homeware Haul

A few weeks ago, I went shopping with the intention of getting a new winter coat, which I actually did buy! But I also happened to pop into Asda for a quick look and spotted a few things along the way that I just couldn't resist putting into my basket! I'm a complete sucker for pretty homeware items and when they are at such an affordable price, I simply can't stop myself from buying them!

Mug £1
As soon as I spotted this, I knew instantly that I wasn't going home without it! I rarely drink hot drinks at home but its just so so pretty that I couldn't not buy it! Plus it was a £1... it would have been silly not to have bought it!

Candles £1 each
I just LOVE these candles! I always have them lit at this time of the year as they make my room look and feel so cosy, plus they smell amaazing! I already have a little collection of these candles, so I love it when I find new ones to add to it.

Pasta bowl £3
I already have the cereal bowl version of this and being a huge pasta lover, I wanted one the same. Its such a simple design yet its so pretty!

Measuring spoons £4
I have a huge passion for baking so finding these was very exciting for me! I had been wanting some of these for such a long time but never found any that I liked. When I saw these, they were exactly what I had been looking for. I love the pastel colours, the cute bow and the little hearts on them. I can't wait to use them the next time that I bake!

Hot water bottle £5
I had been needing a new one for such a long time that I actually forgot about looking for one! I just happened to spot this and liked it straight away. I love the grey knitted case and super soft fur trim! One of the prettiest hot water bottles I've seen!

With Christmas coming up very soon, these would make great gifts! I've always thought that Asda have lovely homeware bits and pieces. It just shows that you don't need to spend a fortune to get nice things! ♥

Welcome to my new blog! I recently decided that I just wasn't happy with my old one, from the layout of it to the photos that I took. So I thought I would create a fresh one and here it is! I included this post in my last blog but I think that its it's a great first blog post to do, giving you a little insight into my likes, dislikes and who I am as a person.

1. I have never eaten a Dominos or Subway for that matter.

2. I can hula hoop for about 20 minutes without dropping it.

3. I have a huge phobia of spiders! They move too fast and have waaay too many legs for my liking!

4. I'm 5ft 3 and have size 4 feet.

5. I have a small scar under my chin which involved a hockey stick and someone that couldnt keep the stick on the ground.

6. I have a passion for baking! If only I could bake for a living eh!

7. I have loved Enya's music since I was about 6 years old.

8. My first time on a plane and holiday abroad was in August last year with my boyfriend. We went to Cyprus which was absolutely lovely. HOT but lovely!

9. I absolutely love Thai food, its my all time fav! I recently tried dim sum for the first time and surprise surprise I thought it was amazing!

10. I did ballet for 2 years until I gave it up when I was 14 - something I hugely regret. But hey who knows, maybe I will take it up again one day.

11. I passed my driving test 1st time.

12. I'm a huge animal lover - except for horses, they are too unpredictable for me! Plus me and my family got chased by one in the forest when I was younger and I've never forgotten it.

13. I cannot stand the smell of salmon and fish in general!

14. My all time favourite tv program is 'Friends'! I never get bored of watching it! I have the entire box set and have watched every episode about 20 times.

15. I'm naturally a shy and quiet person and hey that's ok!

16. I used to play the recorder (badly!) when I was about 7 or 8. My parents must have breathed a sigh of relief when I gave it up!

17. One of my favourite all time things is having fresh bedding. It just feels SO good!

18. I haven't eaten baked beans since I was about 5. I cannot stand the smell or texture of them!

19. I currently have 4 pet gerbils named Rachel, Monica, Phoebe (see what I did there!) and Jess...

20. I have never had my hair coloured, although that could change in the next month or so as I'm wanting to have it done!

21. One of my biggest pet hates are tailgaters! The speed limits are there for a reason! Aaargh it annoys me just thinking about it!

22. I can play a little bit of piano.

23. I had my ears pierced when I was 7.

24. The first concert I went to was to see The Sugababes.

25. I celebrated the New Year in Bruges this year.
